On February 9, 2010 Vienna Beef celebrates Photo’s Hotdogs 20th year of serving quality food and providing assistance to local communities.

Photo’s Hotdogs is a lively dog shop located at 1706 E. Kensington, Mt. Prospect. Owner Jimmy Photopolous’ proclivity for marketing and partnership with Jimmy Courouklis has driven Photo’s success. With another shop in Palatine, as well, Photo’s offers a diverse menu that challenges the traditional definition of a hot dog stand. In addition to Vienna Beef skinless hot dogs, Photo’s menu features gyros, wraps, and quesadillas. On top of priding themselves on their customer’s satisfaction, Photo’s makes community philanthropy a priority in both their Mt Prospect and Palatine locations. By organizing events like the Dine and Share program and participating in the Haitian Relief effort, Photo’s Hotdogs has found creative ways to support those in need.

Vienna Beef welcomes another loyal customer and valued hot dog stand into the Hot Dog Hall of Fame. The Hall of Fame celebrates hot dog and delicatessen operators who have built esteemed reputations within their local communities through innovation, philanthropic leadership and by featuring Vienna Beef fare over the years.

“The Hall of Fame allows Vienna to credit and acknowledge folks in the hot dog business that have contributed a  major part of their lives to creating and perpetuating their successful businesses,” said Bob Schwartz, Author of “Never Put Ketchup on a Hot Dog” and Hall of Fame creator.

Photo’s Hot Dogs has been a member of the Mount Prospect Chamber for over 12 years and has received the Village’s Shining Star Award, as well as, participated in the annual MidSummer Block Party for many years.
