Baseball lovers unite and support the Mount Prospect
Historical Society at the same time! The Society is inviting its
supporters and members of the public to join them at Alexian Field in Schaumburg on
Thursday, July 30, for an evening of exciting professional
baseball as we cheer on the Schaumburg
Flyers.
The game starts at 7 p.m. and tickets are $15 per
person. A portion of the sales will benefit the operations fund of the Mount
Prospect Historical Society.
"So that we may assess interest, we are asking that
anyone interested in attending the game that night to contact us by Wednesday,
June 24, so we can secure a block of tickets," said Greg Peerbolte,
executive director of the Society.
"With a paid admission, you will also have access to
the newly built, air-conditioned Stadium Club, where you may purchase food and
drinks at their full bar and buffet. It also features a pool table and
has a panoramic view of the action on the field. It will truly be a fun night
for a great cause," he added.
