America's Best Companies (ABC) will be celebrating 75 Years
of
Chicago’s
Progress since the 1933 World’s Fair. In 1933,
Chicago hosted the Century of Progress
Exposition to inspire American businesses to grow and prosper economically. The
exposition inspired a diverse group of Chicagoans to rebuild their economy and
city by highlighting the confidence that business owners needed to grow their
companies during those troubling times. And now, on its 75th anniversary, ABC
is hosting a special event in hopes to build the confidence of small business
owners across
America
once again. Apprentice winner, Bill Rancic, will join ABC in its celebration of
the development of small businesses.
The event will take place on Wednesday
evening, August 13th, 5:00pm to 10:00pm in the Owner's Club at the newly built One
Museum Park
building in the South Loop of downtown Chicago,
which overlooks the site of the 1933 World’s Fair. The night will consist of
professionally catered food and drinks, live Chicago jazz band Martini Manifesto, and a
Navy Pier fireworks show beginning at 9:30pm. Bill Rancic and Jim Tracy,
President of ABC, will speak at the event, followed by a meet and greet session
with guests. The event will be host to the most influential organization
leaders, politicians, and small business activists in the Chicago area.
