Chamber begins Jump Start Workshop Series

The Mount Prospect Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a Business Workshop Series starting in January. There are six Jump Start events from January to June. "Demographics" will be held on January 21.   All workshops will be held at the Mount Prospect Public Library beginning at 8:30 am.


Local business owners and entrepreneurs will want to attend the first session of a six-part monthly series, Building Your Business in Mount Prospect, which is designed to help Mount Prospect businesses prosper. Co hosted by the Chamber of Commerce and the Library, this first session will discuss the demographics of the Village using the latest statistics. This information is critical to effectively identify a customer base, target customers’ needs, and develop better marketing plans. The presenter is Brian Simmons, Deputy Community Development Director.

"Negotiate A Business Lease" will be held on February 18th. "Person to Person Networking" will be held on March 18th. "Publicity That Works" will be held on April 22. "Customer Service- That Sells" will be held on May 27th. "Trends in Online Marketing" will be held on June 17th. The time of the workshops is at 8:30am at the Mount Prospect Public Library located at 10 S. Emerson St.
