The Mount
Prospect Chamber of Commerce invites its members to participate in a
Multi-Chamber Business-to-Businesses “Expo & Taste” from
3 p.m.
until
6 p.m.
on Oct. 22 at Bristol Court Banquets. Other
participating chambers include
Des Plaines
,
Edison
Park
, Greater Lincolnshire,
Morton Grove
,
Niles
,
Park Ridge
,
Skokie
and Wheeling/Prospect Heights. Exhibitors
and sponsors must be a member of one of these chambers. Admission is free to
any visitor with a business card who is looking to learn more about the
services and products exhibited.
“It’s a unique opportunity for businesses who
only work with other businesses to advertise and get their names out there,” said
Leah Richter, owner of Richterworks Web & Graphic Design. “This expo has a
completely different focus than many expos since it’s essentially business-to-business.”
Richter, an exhibitor at last year’s
expo, said attendees were looking to learn about the products and services
exhibited. This expo gives exhibitors an opportunity to obtain referrals and
sales leads. They may introduce new products and services and build valuable
relationships with other businesses. There will also be prize drawings and
giveaways at this event.
Businesses may purchase one of six
major sponsorships available at $500 each before Oct. 9. This includes a 10’ by
10’ booth space in a prime location, a booth ID sign, electricity if needed, the
name of the business in promotional materials, and expo signage.
The Mount
Prospect Chamber of Commerce seeks to promote, support and enrich the local
business community through the delivery of quality services, effective
communication and through the establishment of partnerships with individuals,
community organizations, fellow chamber members and governmental bodies.
